RoleReady Resume Tailor terms of use

Effective October 16, 2026

These terms apply to your use of RoleReady Resume Tailor, a set of resume-tailoring instructions published by Eve McGivern for use in ChatGPT. By choosing to use it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the plugin.

What RoleReady does

RoleReady uses information you provide in ChatGPT to help tailor resume wording to a complete job description. It may ask questions, suggest edits, and explain evidence gaps. It is an assistive writing tool, not a recruiter, employer, or hiring decision-maker.

Your materials and review

You are responsible for having the right to provide the resume and job description you use. Share only information you are comfortable processing through ChatGPT. Review all generated text and verify every claim before using it. Outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate and may be similar to outputs provided to other people.

RoleReady does not promise a particular ATS score, interview, job offer, page count, or result. Page-count checks require document rendering; plain text alone cannot confirm pagination. Export options depend on the tools available in your ChatGPT setup.

Fees and platform

Eve McGivern does not charge a fee for the RoleReady plugin. You use it through ChatGPT, which is operated by OpenAI and may be subject to separate account, plan, feature, and usage terms. OpenAI’s terms and policies govern your use of ChatGPT.

Availability and responsibility

RoleReady is provided as available and may change or become unavailable. To the extent allowed by applicable law, Eve McGivern makes no warranty that the plugin or its output will be error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for decisions and materials you submit to employers.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws require otherwise.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated by publishing a revised version with a new effective date. For questions, use the support address on the RoleReady support page.
